Hey Ya'll!
Colleen here. I was a bit disappointed when the Jays lost on Sunday and I was too tired to blog that night. i just wanted to sleep. They lost 3-1 vs Texas and looked sharp in their red uniforms. Ok enough on that....now let's focus on last night's game. Russell Martin scored a two run homer and Troy Tulowitski aka Tulo scored a grand slam home run and the Jays have scored more grand slams this season than any other team. Justin Smoak drove a three run homer tonight and i was impressed. I listened to the whole game on the radio. Sam gave me a radio so I can listen to my Toronto Blue Jays play. At the end of this entry I will post a picture of Justin Smoak in a red uniform. Red is one of my favourite colours. The Jays won last night 17-2!!!! They played against Cincinnati Reds. My core resource teacher in grade 6 is a fan of Cincinnati since she came from there. The Reds won that World Series when she was still teaching and working with me. The Reds won the World Series b4 the Jays did in 92-93 when Joe Carter made the two last plays. When the Jays were World Series champs, way b4 I laid eyes on Justin Smoak, my heart was with John Olerud. It's funny though, John Olerud played first base as well as Justin Smoak. I went to my women's group today and got my Justin Smoak some chocolate and make him hyper and my friend Reta nearly killed me. Anyway the other two players other than Troy Tulowitski hitting a grad slam are Devon Travis and Ryan Goins. I find grand slams and triple plays are NOT common in baseball. Sam is sleeping as I blog about the Jays. Sometimes i go for walks i can hear blue jays squawking. i don't find a blue jays squawking very nice to hear like a robin or a cardinal. But blue jays are nice to look at though. Anyways I'll shut up now. I hate being a chatterbox like my Justin Smoak. Here is a pic of Justin Smoak in a red Blue Jays uniform....
